Fresh Fruit!

The band started back in 2018, out a college dorm room, a passion project between friends who connected over their shared love of music. Both studying and playing music together, they quickly became a staple in Colorado’s live music circuit, headlining and selling out shows at beloved local venues such as Hi Dive, The Oriental Theater, Globe Hall, Larimer Lounge, Lost Lake, The Skylark, and Mercury Cafe. The band also became regular performers at festivals and showcases like the Underground Music Showcase, Denver Music and Art Festival, FOCO MX, and a brief West Coast tour in California. 

The group’s debut EP, Independently (2021), introduced their sound with confidence and range, moving seamlessly between upbeat funk-leaning tracks and introspective ballads. The project established Fresh Fruit! as a band unafraid to explore emotional depth while maintaining a sense of fun and momentum. 

In their 2023 EP, Wonderlime, the band’s thematic focus shifted towards deeper and more reflective questions about life and the world around them, with music that contemplates both personal and collective futures — described by the band as their post-apocalyptic era of sound.

Their most recent release, Live Mix Vol. 1 (2025), captures the live spirit of Fresh Fruit! It blends soulful grooves and extended performances with the band’s characteristic style, showcasing how their songs translate on stage into musical chemistry. With a mix of emotionally charged performances, expressive vocals, and organic musicianship, this EP gives fans a taste of what it’s like to hear Fresh Fruit! in a live setting.

Their playful name and joyful musical spirit stand alongside a willingness to delve into heavier themes of identity, struggle, freedom, and connection. They are both groove-driven and emotionally resonant, familiar yet unmistakably their own, a contemporary indie pop polish with timeless emotional depth - one bite and you’re hooked.
